WHAT  IS THE CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES?

For direct booking check-in is 3pm and check-out is 11am.

CAN I REQUEST AN EARLY CHECK-IN OR LATE CHECK-OUT?

Early Check-in is available upon request. Guests have to inform Willowtree Glamping prior to check-in date.

Late check-out also may be available.

Charges for late Check is £15 per hour , and per part hour after that.
Charges for Early Check-in is £15 per hour , and per part hour after that.

DO YOU WELCOME PETS?

We accept pets in all accommodation. We charge £20 for pets per stay. Pets are not permitted on furniture or on/in beds.

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept children on site.

FOOD STORAGE, WHAT IS AVAILABLE?

The Cabins & Shepherds Hut: There is a mini fridge and small freezer.

The Yurts also include a fridge.

Tents: If you wish to store any perishable food items. Any drinks maybe stored in the fridge within the Campers’ Kitchen to chill down – subject to space within it. Items are left in the fridge/freezer at each guests own risk.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

We provide bed linen and duvets, glasses, crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils. You should bring:

food and drink;
towels;
wellie boots or sensible walking shoes;
head-torch;
hat;
umbrellas;
sun cream;
mobile phone/tablet and chargers;
torches;
warm nightwear, if staying in the cooler months of the year;
night gown.

DO I NEED TO BRING A HAIRDRYER?

Hair dryers are available upon request.

DO WE HAVE TO CLEAN UP BEFORE WE LEAVE?

Accepted Answer

Due to covid we request that guests strip the bed before departure and leave windows open.

We ask that the washing up is done and all rubbish is bagged and taken to the rubbish area.

WHAT FUEL IS PROVIDED FOR FIREPIT/BARBECUE?

Please bring fire wood for the firepit/stove and charcoal for the barbecue and any additional firelights/matches you may wish to use. This can be added at time of booking

CAN WE HAVE GUESTS VISIT US?

****Due to Covid Guest can NOT have visitors ******Sorry (We must be informed of all additional guests prior to arrival. A maximum number applies. Guests must vacate the premises by 8pm and are not permitted to use facilities such as hot tub, kitchens, sanitary facilities.)

WHAT IF IT RAINS?

You Barbecue area is open to all the weather elements. If you are willing to cook out in the rain then you are more than welcome, but you will need to bring a large umbrella. You can use the many take-away food outlets in Annalong: Pizza, Fish & Chips; Chinese; and Deli are all options.

WHERE ARE THE NEAREST SHOPS/RESTAURANTS?

In the village (a 10 minute walk) there is a large convenience store with, butchers, bakery, deli, and off licence. There are also a number of take-out food outlets: Pizza, Chinese, Fish & Chips. There are 4 restaurants/cafes within the village and 2 pubs.

Further away, in Newcastle (7.9 miles) there are a large number of excellent restaurants and take-out food places, larger shops including Tesco’s and Lidl.
Kilkeel (5.5 miles) there are a number of cafes, restaurants and shops including ASDA.

CAN I GET TO WILLOWTREE GLAMPING USING PUBLIC TRANSPORT?

There is a bus stop at the bottom of the road.

Ulster Bus 37 leaves from
Newry-Kilkeel-Annalong-Newcastle
Belfast-Newcastle-Annalong-Kilkeel (also Ulster Bus 237a, 20)

From Dublin Airport use the Expressway X1 from Dublin Airport to Newry Bus Statio and then get the Ulster Bus 37 to Kilkeel and on to Annalong.

Question 14

DO  YOU SUPPLY FIRE WOOD?

Accepted Answer

We supply you with sufficient logs for the wood fired hot tub for the duration of your stay.

Should you require additional logs they can be purchased for £7 per basket from us. This can be added at time of booking or on site prior to 7pm.

If you wish to light the fire pit you should bring your own logs or you can add them to your booking.

IS THERE A MINIMUM STAY?

Yes, due to the extensive cleaning and sanitation required we have a 2 night minimum stay. We may have some single nights available contact us for these dates? A single night supplement applies to cover Covid cleaning.

Yes, due to Covid we request guests to bring their own towels.
