Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Like all the others, I joined the craze this summer and got myself some lessons and a SUP Board.

It’s such a fantastic way to explore the local waters. Always check the tides and the weather and never go alone.

Never worry if you don’t have a board as local company Geology Rocks Adventure Tourism can provide you all the equipment and safety take you out on the water.

At Geology Rocks their experienced and fun instructors will guide you on an exploratory journey around the shores of Carlingford Lough, beginning from the stunning blue flag beach of Cranfield West, at the southern foothills of the Mourne Mountains.

?Once we’ve met up and kitted you out, we’ll set off from the beach exploring wave washed shores filled with wildlife, and through rocky coves with a rich geological history – our resident geologist will show you that Geology does in fact rock!

?As well as some cool learning and sites to see (such as the 13th century Greencastle Castle or the stunning 19th century Haulbowline Lighthouse) we’ll of course add some adventure into the mix with games, balance challenges and maybe even the odd jump or two off a pier also!

Put simply, an activity not to be missed!
